Acer has introduced an even thinner and lighter Ultrabook, the Swift 7 (SF714-52T) with a new premium chassis. The extremely narrow frame was awarded a CES 2019 Innovation Award. The notebook impresses with a screen-to-case ratio of 92 percent.
The new 14-inch Ultrabook Acer Swift 7 is extremely lightweight, which means that traveling professionals who have their notebook with them always weigh in at just 890 grams looking forward. This makes the Swift 7 almost weightless when worn in a briefcase or a small bag.
Thanks to numerous design advances, the redesigned Ultrabook Swift 7 fits the latest technology into a chassis that is significantly smaller than its predecessor. Especially the margins are extremely narrow at just 2.57 mm, which reduces the width and depth of the Ultrabook.
Like its predecessors, the new Swift 7 (SF714-52T) remains very thin and light. The 14-inch full-HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels and IPS 3 technology provides smooth touch interaction and delivers vivid and crisp images. With a color gamut of 100% sRGB / 72% NTSC and a brightness of 300 nits, the Swift 7 provides impressive clarity. It is particularly durable through a layer of Corning® Gorilla® Glass 6 . But in addition to the presentation, the 14-inch Ultrabook Swift 7 also impresses with its intrinsic values.
With long service life
The Swift 7 Ultrabook delivers world-class performance for Web browsing, presentations, and spreadsheets, as well as compute-intensive tasks, with Intel® Core ™ i7-8500Y processor with up to 16GB of RAM . This allows a large number of files to be stored and retrieved quickly. With an operating time of 10 hours customers can use their Swift 7 until late in the evening.
Prices and availability
The new Acer Swift 7 (SF714-52T) with touch display comes with 8GB or 16GB LDDR3 RAM and either 256GB or 512GB SSD PCIe memory. The new Ultrabook Swift 7 will be released in Europe in April 2019 from 1.799 EUR .
