An event is known by its local name as there were some diseases occurred in Ethiopia during this month Hidar (November in English). Since then, this event is described as it is as local people can easily remember the event and become a good way to teach and influence them about Sanitation and Hygiene issues.

Few people have their own transport. Even a donkey costs too much for many. But getting to market is crucial in order to cash in on rising local demand for produce. Personal safety often has to take a back seat!
